The Bar Method coming to Minneapolis
North Loop will be home to first Bar Method studio in the state
Saint Paul—The first Bar Methodâ studio in Minnesota will be opening in Minneapolis’ North Loop neighborhood this fall.
Bar or “barre” workouts have recently become one of the most popular ways to increase fitness while building strength and flexibility. The Bar Method is one of the nation’s leading practitioners – the Minneapolis location is expected to be The Bar Method’s 97th studio in the United States and Canada.
The Bar Method exercise system merges the principles of isometrics, interval training and dance conditioning while emphasizing sculpting more than other barre workouts by targeting the muscles that play the largest role in changing the shape of the body. Clients around the country appreciate how the method quickly and safely reshapes, burns fat and elongates muscles.
The Bar Method instructors receive extensive training in healthy patterns of movement and are able to assist with modifications to accommodate all types of client needs including variations for pregnant women. Clients receive personalized instruction and hands-on adjustment to ensure safety and create strong, flexible, aligned bodies.
The new studio will be located in T3, a 221,552 square foot Class A office development of Hines, at 323 Washington Avenue North in Minneapolis. Construction of the studio will begin in July and is expected to be completed in time for a Grand Opening in the fall, likely in October. Final Grand Opening details will be announced closer to the big event.
